Below please find the latest news summary and announcement of upcoming events.
WEEKLY RACE SCHEDULE
The Thursday, June 29 schedule of races is now posted. To view and download the

ELAINE NEKRITZ TROPHY RACE
The Elaine Nekritz Trophy race sponsored by Albertos
(http://www.albertocycles.com/) drew 23 women competitors. This number equals
the number of women who competed in a similar event held in 2005. To view the

The event was covered by multiple online sites including Chicago Athlete
Magazine, Chicago Bike Federation, Daily Peloton Round-up, Truesport, Spokepost
to name a few.
WOMEN'S MOUNTAIN BIKE CLINIC
The 7th Women's Dirt Retreat has been schedule from July 8-9 (Sat-Sun) in
Middleton, WI. A PDF flyer is enclosed for your information.
2ND ANNUAL LADIES' NIGHT
Please stay tuned for upcoming information on the 2nd Annual Ladies' Night
sponsored by Garner Cyclery (http://georgegarnercyclery.com/) The event will be
held on Thursday, July 13. This event will have offer a premium purse for women
racers.
MASTERS RACING
Mark your calendars as the Illinois State Master's Championship is schedule for
Saturday and Sunday July 22-23. A schedule of events and on-line registration
information will be available soon.
ROGER DeLANGHE TROPHY
The Roger DeLanghe Trophy race will be held on Thursday, August 3. This event
sponsored by 2CC/Pony Shop (http://www.ponyshop.com) and carries a total purse
of over $2,000. A schedule of events and on-line registration information will
be available soon.
JUNIOR RACING
Do you like the new junior racing format? We have revamped our racing and
separated the categories to allow young riders to race against riders of equal
track racing abilities. The new format is 10-14 and 15-18 years of age. New
junior racers also have programs in which they too can hone their skills.
Every Friday the Northbrook Bicycle Club/Garner hosts races for the developing
