I hope the early cool weather still has you riding your bike or  
jumping in a local race to prolong the fitness you gained during the  
past racing season.

CHICAGO CYCLOCROSS CUP (Sunday, October 15)

The Chicago Cyclocross Cup racing series begins tomorrow Sunday, October 15 in
Carpenter Park, Carpentersville.  For more information and the ability

NCC MONTHLY MEETING & 2007 BOARD NOMINATIONS (Thursday, October 26)

The Northbrook Cycle Committee will be meeting on Thursday, October 26  
at 7:00 p.m.  The meeting will be held in the Village Green.   If you  
need information on how to get to the Village Green you may contact  
the park district for further information.  The Northbrook Park  
District can be reached at (847) 291-2980

We are currently accepting nominations for the 2007 NCC board; our  
current board is listed at http://www.northbrookvelodrome.org/ncc

The vacancies for 2007 will be Treasurer and Director of Finance also  
Public Relations Director; however, you may submit your  
name/nominations for any board position.

You should submit a letter of interest (nomination) to Jim Weaver, NCC  
Secretary at james_f_weaver at ml.com  The nominations are due via e-mail  
by Wednesday, October 25, 2006 or you can personally attend the NCC  
meeting on Thursday, October 26 at the Village Green to submit your  
letter of interest.
