Dear Riders,

I hope you are staying dry as this rain does not seem to want to go  
away; but this is great weather to get the cyclocross bike out right?  
Um!  All that mud flying - yes you have to love it!  There will be mud  
flying soon when I enter a few cross country running events. So we  
both get to play in the mud.


2006 ROTY STANDINGS

The clock is ticking away as tomorrow at is the last day you have to  
voice your concerns about your point?s standings.  You can refer to  
the 2006 ROTY standings at http://www.northbrookvelodrome.org/results

On Friday, September 15 all 2006 ROTY standings become final.


CYCLING MADE REAL AND FUJI FRAME PARTICIPATION PROGRAM

Um! perhaps Wendy will let me convert that track bike into a  
cyclocross bike so I can race the Chicago Cyclocross Cup (wink?wink).   
If have not heard the news Wendy Gaddey (Colavita) has raced away with  
the FujiPro Track bike frame. She will be able to claim it at the  
upcoming banquet.

NCC BANQUET & AWARDS DINNER

They are a number of individuals who already signed up via the "snail  
mail" method.

On this day we will have many items in the silent auction available  
for your bids.  Don't leave home without the check book as all  
proceeds will go toward funding the 2007 velodrome events.

The list of items is growing, most recently we obtained is a signed  
Toyota United Pro Cycling Jersey, a microchip from Northbrook Animal  
hospital, an evaluation/consultation from Back to Basics Chiropractic  
in Evanston; that is addition to Fife Vineyards Wines who have donated  
a selection from their small production of wines. For further

Lastly, in the next few days we will be asking for your feedback as it  
pertains to the 2006 season and looking ahead at 2007.  This would be  
the time to write down all your positive experiences and constructive  
criticisms you would like the NCC to know about.
