Where's spring?  I am sure it is heading our way!

I hope all is well since we are busy preparing for an exiting track  
cycling season.

This weekend, April 14 and 15 the Chicago Bike Show and Family Fitness  
Expo will be held at Navy Pier.  The event will feature more than 100  
exhibitors, a kids' area, closeout center, extreme BMX stunt show, and

Magazine.

The 2007 season schedule is available in printable form at  
http://www.northbrookvelodrome.com/schedule  The season opener is  
planned for Thursday, May 17 and is presented by the Northbrook Park  
District.

Once again, we will have an event for everyone featuring the Elaine  
Nekritz Trophy Championship Scratch race (June 21), the Roger DeLanghe  
Trophy Championship Scratch race (August 2), the Juniors Championships  
(June 9) and the Master's Championships (July 14). It is also  
important that you participate in our clinics that will prepare you  
for competition.  Our clinic will begin with the Women's Track clinic  
planned for Saturday, May 12.  We will also have our weekly  
Monday/Tuesday night clinics which begin as early as April 30.
