You may recognize a number of our riders who were quoted.

RIDER WAIVER REQUIREMENT

Please be reminded that if this is your first time at the Ed Rudolph  
Velodrome a rider waiver must be submitted prior to you accessing the  
velodrome.  Please visit  
http://www.usacycling.org/forms/rider_release.pdf to download the  
rider waiver.  You must sign, date and provide all requested  
information.  Don't forget your 2007 USAC license/proof of upgrade.

Please don't hold up the queue and come prepared with your waiver,  
check (written out to the N.C.C.), cash, license, and number (if you  
don't have one you will be required to purchase one on race day) and  
lastly be pleasant to the volunteers who work hard to bring you the  
races.


CYCLOCROSS CLINIC (Sunday, August 19)

If you are thinking of racing cyclocross then consider attending the  
Capitol Velo Club sponsored cyclocross clinic on Sunday, August 19.    
The clinic will be held at Badger Prairie County Park just west of  
Madison in Verona where a WCA race is held. The cost is a very  
affordable $45 which includes professional instruction from Ben Turner  
(of Cycle Smart and Team Slipstream) as well as snacks and lunch.

ELAINE NEKRITZ TROPHY/WOMEN?S CHAMPIONSHIP SCRATCH RACE (Thursday, August 23)

The Elaine Nekritz Trophy/Women's Championship Scratch Race on-line  
registration is now open.  You may begin registering by visiting  
https://www.sportsbaseonline.com/Item.aspx?id=1888  Registration ends  
Wednesday, August 22 at 5:00 p.m. CST.

Early birds registered riders are eligible for a raffle to various prizes.

SHERMAN PARK CRITERIUM (SATURDAY, AUGUST 25)

The Sherman Park Criterium will be held on Saturday, August 25.  The  
race women's 1/2/3 race will be held in remembrance Beth Kobeszka (BK)  
.  The race offers various categories including two women's races  
(Women 4/35+ and Women's 1/2/3)

GLENCOE CRITERIUM (Sunday, August 26)

The first ever Glencoe Criterium will be held on Sunday, August 26,  
2007.  Among the sponsors is  Alberto's, a track cycling supporter of  
many years and the presenting sponsor of the Elaine Nekritz/Women's  
Championship Scratch Race
