OLYMPIC CYCLIST TO READ NEW BOOK FOR CHILDREN AT TURIN (Wed June 20)

Two times U.S. Olympian Erin Mirabella will read her new book for  
children and families at Turin and three other Midwest locations this  
month.

JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIPS RESULTS

The junior championships event was a great success with 16 competitors  
coming out to battle it out at the Ed Rudolph Velodrome.   Results are

ALPENROSE VELODROME CHALLENGE (July 6-7)

The Alpenrose Velodrome Challenge is schedule for July 6-7 for further  
information and flyer, please visit

Total purse amounts to over $12.000, with subgroups for Elite Men  
$7,000; Elite Women $4,000; Masters $1,000 and Record Attempt Prizes.

TRACK RACING HISTORY HELP NEEDED

Can someone help?  (A message from a MI track enthusiast) My name is  
Rodger Bowser, I live in Ann Arbor MI.  I am part of the Ann Arbor  
Velo club and am an avid racer ?round these parts.

I'm trying to dig up some family history and find out some of my  
unanswered questions about my late grandfathers racing career in  
Chicago.  His name is Frank Pillar or Pillarski
