GARNER/ROTY/BLUE COMPETION CYCLES STANDINGS
The above standing spreadsheets have been posted and have standings
reflecting races completed on Thu Aug 30, 2007.
Remember no points will be award this Thursday, however, all standings
become FINAL by the end of the night (Thursday, September 6 2007) so
if you have a concern about the standings see Manfred Ray at the Ed
Rudolph Velodrome. You can review your standing by visiting

KEIRIN CHAMPIONSHIPS (Thu Sept 6)
Please note that on this day we be hosting the Keirin Championships
and the winner in the women category 1/2/3 and men Pro/1/2 will be
earn the velodrome/IL State/Elite qualifier honors.
(UN)OFFICIAL TRACK STAND IL STATE/VELODROME CHAMPIONSHIP (Thu Sept 6)
The (un) Official Track Stand IL state/velodrome championship will be
held on Thursday, September 6. The un-Official Track Stand
Championship is presented by Turin. The total purse is $85 which
awards the top three places with $50/$25/$10.

ELAINE NEKRITZ TROPHY/WOMENS CHAMPIONSHIP SCRATCH RACE (Presentation)
The Elaine Nekritz Trophy/Women's Championship Scratch Race was held
last week and full results are now available for viewing by visiting

The trophy presentation will be held on Thursday, September 6 and
State Representative Elaine Nekritz is scheduled to attend.

the 4Km Team Pursuit, forth in the Madison with Jason Garner, 8th in
the Points Race with 8points, and 16th in the 1Km Time Trial.
Chris Mosora placed 9th in the Points race with 7points, 9th in the
200meter Time Trial, and 12th in the 3Km pursuit, and 13th in the 1Km

CHICAGO CYCLOCROSS CUP RACE #1 (Sunday, Sept 23)
The Chicago Cyclocross Cup Race #1 will be held on Sunday, September
23 at Jackson Park. The race is hosted by Chicago based XXX Racing
AthletiCo Racing Team.

BLOOD, SWEAT AND TEARS RIDE (SUN SEPT 23)
A Team in Training ride is schedule for Sunday, September 23, 2007.
The ride benefits the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. The ride is in
Barrington, and offers 25, 45, and 62 mile routes. It's the ride's 4th
year and info on the ride is available at www.tntillinois.org
FAMILY CIRCLE CHALLENGE (Sat Sept 29)
The Mt. Prospect Park District is planning their first ever "Family
Cycle Challenge" on Saturday, September 29. This will be a chance for
parents and their children to ride together, complete wacky challenges
and have fun. It's based on the show "Amazing Race". The PDF flyer
is enclosed for your review.
